A decorative French neoclassical-style pedestal or plant stand, constructed from pale green onyx with gilt-brass mounts.
The circular onyx top is edged with an ornate gilt-brass foliate border and supported by four slender, fluted columns with Corinthian capitals. Below is a square onyx plinth decorated with applied gilt-brass floral paterae, raised upon a stepped base with further foliate mounts and decorative scroll feet.
