A William IV mahogany cheval mirror, dating from the early 19th century.
The rectangular mirror plate is held within a moulded mahogany frame and can be tilted to the desired angle using the turned side handles. It is supported by a pair of carved scrolling uprights with smaller graduated scroll details.
The base is joined by twin turned stretchers and raised on four boldly carved scrolling legs with concealed brass castors.
