A striking pair of industrial double dome chandeliers in the Holophane manner, notable for their robust construction and distinctive early 20th-century aesthetic. Each fixture is formed from cast metal with a rich, aged brown patina, centred on a cylindrical hub from which two opposing arms extend, creating a balanced twin-light configuration.
Suspended beneath each arm are large prismatic glass shades of classic Holophane type, with deep vertical ribbing designed to maximise light diffusion while maintaining brightness. The glass is clear and well-defined, offering a crisp counterpoint to the darker, weighty metalwork above.
Both chandeliers retain their original chain suspension, allowing for adjustable height, and feature slender support rods and a shaped gallery plate that frame the shades and emphasise the engineered, utilitarian character of the design.
