A stylish Art Deco dressing table dating from the 1930s, beautifully crafted in maple with a rich honey-coloured finish and attractive figured veneers throughout. The elegant design displays the clean, streamlined lines synonymous with the period, featuring softly rounded corners, subtle contrasting banding and an original shaped bevelled mirror.
The dressing table is fitted with three graduated drawers to each pedestal, all retaining their original turned wooden knobs. The central section incorporates a pair of cupboard doors opening to reveal a shelved interior, providing useful concealed storage, while the shaped kneehole offers comfortable seating. The original bevelled mirror remains in very good condition with light age-related foxing, adding to its authentic period character.
