An ornate Rococo Revival wall mirror with a rectangular bevelled plate enclosed by an elaborate pierced giltwood frame.
The frame is formed from scrolling acanthus leaves, floral motifs and flowing C-scrolls, creating an open and finely modelled border. A prominent pierced crest crowns the mirror, centred by a cartouche surrounded by curling foliage, while a shaped foliate motif anchors the lower rail.
The bevelled edge adds depth to the mirrored plate, while the richly gilded finish highlights the frame’s sculptural detail.
