A decorative pair of French Louis XV style two-tier side tables, veneered in richly figured woods and finely detailed with floral and scrolling marquetry.
Each table has a shaped top centred by an intricate symmetrical marquetry design, framed by a contrasting veneered border and gilt-brass edge. Beneath is a single fitted drawer with a shaped front, decorative veneer and a small gilt-brass handle.
The matching lower tiers are also decorated with elaborate floral marquetry and edged with gilt-brass moulding. Each table is raised on four slender cabriole legs, enriched with gilt-brass foliate mounts to the shoulders and terminating in decorative brass sabots.
