A well-proportioned Regency style circular drum table, constructed in mahogany with a green tooled-leather writing surface.
The top is inset with green leather, divided into four sections by gilt-tooled lines and centred by a small classical motif. A broad foliate gilt border frames the writing surface, which is surrounded by a crossbanded mahogany edge.
The frieze contains four drawers arranged around the table, alternating with matching faux drawer fronts to maintain its balanced circular appearance. Each section is fitted with brass ring handles, with keyholes to the functional drawers.
Supported by a central pedestal, the table stands on four swept legs terminating in brass caps and castors.
