A handsome Regency-style mahogany breakfront open bookcase of generous proportions. The moulded rectangular top sits above a finely reeded frieze, with the slightly projecting central section flanked by two narrower bays.
The bookcase provides nine open compartments, divided by fixed shelves and distinctive faux bamboo supports. Attractive mahogany grain and a warm, rich colour are displayed throughout, while the stepped plinth base gives the piece a well-balanced and substantial appearance.
